M&M Cookies

My 3 year old wanted to bake cookies. She asked for "white" cookies since white is her favorite color. Yeah, white. She's cool like that! Anyway, I came across this recipe for M&M cookies and there were two reasons why I decided to make these with her:

  1. My daughter likes M&M's
  2. I just so happen to have a large bag of M&M's in my kitchen cabinet
Get the recipe HERE
So to the kitchen we went with this recipe. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome of these. They are small cookies, but remain soft even days later. The dough itself has a light flavor so the M&M's really give it that extra sweetness you might be craving.

I later made these as plain chocolate chip cookies, leaving out the M&M's and they were also very good. I used mini semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of regular size. Since the cookie is small, I didn't want a large chip to distract from the actual dough.

Because of their size, you will get a lot of cookies from one batter...

... so go ahead and share!

Baked and Reviewed: Soft Batch Double Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Holy mother of Chocolate! This recipe I found HERE for Soft Batch Double Chocolate Fudge Cookies are to die for. Seriously. Just look at them:

If you absolutely love chocolate, you must try these. They are no joke. They are really big cookies. 1/4 cup of raw dough will bake up to be a pretty good size cookie that you can savor. Make sure you have some kind of drink with these. I pair it with my favorite Chai Tea Latte, but a cold glass of milk or hot cup of coffee will do just fine as well.

Pros:
  • C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E Chocolate!
  • Soft
  • 1 will keep you satisfied because of the size
Cons:
  • Because of the size, you only get 12 cookies out of one batch.
So this will definitely be my go to cookie whenever I need a chocolate fix. I seriously need to bake more of these.

That's it. Bake these up right now. Do it! Then tell me your thoughts.
